1988 - 89

Fall '88 - Moped Race
On a nice day with nothing much going on, some of the brothers get a moped challenge going.  An obstacle course is agreed upon that takes riders around some trees in the back yard, through the volleyball court, racing down the back alley into the subdivision, around and back up Hillcrest in front of the house, screaming into Grand River for a brief stint before turning back up the alley and across the finish line in the back of the house.

MSU vs. UM
This year the big rivalry is at UofM inAnn Arbor.  Some brother make the trip from EL down to Ann Arbor to find a sold out stadium. Carter and Jeff find an open door for concession works, don concession worker apron and shirts, grab some beverages and head into the stadium san tickets to see the game!  They sell their drinks, pocket the $$, and enjoy the game.

Alpha Delta Phi Brother's Party
Following a time-honored tradition, Alpha Delta Phi throws a "Brother's Party" on a Friday night in October.  The gist of the party is that the house gets a keg and locks all of the brothers in until the keg is empty.  The house band, "Girls Without Legs", does an acoustic session.

Gator Bowl
A number of the brothers venture down to Florida over Christmas Break to catch MSU play Georgia in the Gator Bowl.  While we pass the time during the trip down by lighting off bottle rockets out the sunroof, the accelerator pedal on Tony's car breaks.  Using a coat hanger to replace a broken cable, we're back in business and race down to Ft. Lauderdale for a couple of days in the sun before coming back up to Jacksonville for the game.  While in Ft. Lauderdale, we catch up with SAMMIES Darryl and Bryan.
